Our second episode included performances by Julie Lee, ("Plague of Blood" and "Soapbox"), Bill Miller (two-time Grammy award-winning Native American category, "The Healing of the Land" and "Prayer"), Hope Miller (performing Jean Ritchie's "Now is the Cool of the Day"), and Buddy Greene, ("The Migrant's Cry," "The Little Beggar Man," and "Kingdom Hymn"). Plus our Most Outstanding Tokens House Band performed "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Limehouse Blues."

The traditional rendering of this hymn is performed by our most outstanding Sinai Mountain Boys, whose own Aubrey Haynie uses the "broken bow" technique to play chords on the fiddle and simply blow us away.

A string quartet made up of the members of the Annie Moses Band join our Sinai Mountain Boys to break down false dichotomies and unite two estranged musical genres.

Tokens Premiere Episode!

"The Appalachian Longing for Home," included performances by Buddy Greene (performing "Rise from the Ruins," "Lay Down Your Weary Tune," "Shall We Gather at the River," and "Sally Goodin"), Andrew Peterson ("Let There Be Music" and "When the Last Tear Falls"), Odessa Settles ("Poor Wayfaring Stranger" and "Safety Zone"), and Aunt Mag's 4 ("Calling My Children Home"). Plus our Tokens House Band performed two most outstanding instrumentals.
